STOTT PILATES® is the contemporary approach to the original mind-body exercise method that was created by Joseph Pilates. Pilates is a system of physical and mental conditioning that can enhance your strength, flexibility, and coordination as well as reduce stress, improve mental focus, and foster an improved sense of well-being. Sessions are customized to suit the novice exerciser learning correct movement; the rehab patient improving function; or the elite athlete seeking the performance edge.   When appropriate, equipment will be used to complement the programming: fitness circle, resistance bands, free weights, BOSU, stability ball, reformer and related accessories.

Foundation Training

Foundation Training are exercises designed to facilitate your natural postures and movement patterns.  The exercises teach efficient use of your body by building it up rather than constantly breaking it down.  Including Foundation Training into your daily life will consistently increase your body’s awareness in moving properly which can halt many of the degenerative processes causing chronic pain.  Foundation Training does not replace your current workout regiment.  It is a full body, integrated exercise system that acts a universal accessory to whichever form of exercise or physical activity you enjoy.

Inhale Yoga

Inhale yoga classes provide an environment where children can learn, grow, and find an authentic sense of belonging.  A healthy body and mind is important for the development of all children.  Yoga offers all children and kids with ADD/ADHD, Autism, Developmental or Learning Disabilities many positive ways to improve their ability to self-calm, focus, and build social skills. Kids yoga is fun, interactive, and promotes self-confidence and self-esteem for all children.

Inhale Yoga classes are designed and taught by Haley Kimball, who holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. Classes offered provide the basics of yoga and work towards helping children increase their body awareness, build strength and flexibility, learn self-regulating and breathing exercises, and simple relaxation techniques.  Each class strives to provide opportunities that teach children social interactions, build gross motor skills, and the encouragement to try new and difficult skills.

*Inclusion-based classes are determined by your child’s age, cognitive and motor abilities. Classes may be taken independently or with assistance of a caregiver.
